AWLFC Paws & Claws 5K
Join us for the Animal Welfare League of Frederick’s (AWLFC) first annual Paws & Claws Run. This 5K Run/1 Mile Walk will benefit the AWLFC cat & dog programs!
Registration
Registration check-in and T-shirt distribution will begin at 7 a.m. There is no guarantee that T-shirts will be available for registrations completed after May 25.
Race Day Rules and Guidelines for Safety
Strollers and children are welcome to participate! If you would like to run with a stroller, please be considerate of others and always yield the right of way. Dogs are family too and are permitted on the course. Please be sure to clean any mess that may occur on the course. Headphones are permitted, however you shall assume full responsibility for their use. You must be able to hear all instructions given by race course personnel and be aware of your surroundings at all times.
Parking
There will be plenty of parking for the race. The street will be closed to vehicles for the race. Follow signs and event personnel to the start/finish area.
Additional Information
Post-race goodies will be provided to recharge your batteries! Sign up before May 25 to receive a free gender specific T-shirt. Prizes will be given for the 5K in each age category.
